Local councillors in Moreton have welcomed Siva and his team as they re-open Saughall Bridge Post Office.
The Post Office was one of three closed in the Borough, along with Upton and Wallasey Village. Conservative Councillors had received all party support in the Town Hall to lobby the Post Office to reopen them.
Councillor Vida Wilson said: "Post Offices are a vital hub for any community and, frankly, Wirral had lost too many in recent years. Colin, Gary and I were determined to do all we could to persuade Post Office bosses of the need for this branch. We are grateful to them for acting and appointing Siva as the new Postmaster."
