The latest figures show that the number of people claiming unemployment-related benefits in Wallasey has fallen by 175 over the last 12 months.

There are now 2,255 people claiming and being supported with unemployment benefits, including those still receiving Jobseekers' Allowance or Universal Credit and required to seek work.

The Government's 'Find a Job' service currently has 2,999 job vacancies across Wirral and Merseyside.
