On Saturday 24 June events across the United Kingdom will take place to celebrate and say thank you to our Armed Forces for keeping us safe, at home and abroad.
This year's national event takes place in Falmouth, where personnel from all three services will converge to mark the occasion.
It is an opportunity for the nation to show its respect to military personnel and their families, thanking them for defending the UK both at home and abroad and strengthening our relationships with our allies and partners.
From the Shetland Island to Southampton, members of the public can host their own Armed Forces Day events on the 24th of June in their local communities. For more information on hosting your own event, Armed Forces Day resources and how to apply for funding, visit the official Armed Forces Day website.
In the meantime, if you are a current of former member of the Armed Forces, you can join us with a discounted rate of £25 a year.
